Course Description

This workshop provides the next level of ethics CEUs with an emphasis on addressing ethical dilemmas. Join the scores of participants who attended the original Magic and Mastery ethics workshops to take the uncommon step of actually learning how to apply ethical principles and practices while also having fun with magic and improv exercises.

This 6-hour workshop delivers a completely new and exciting take on the typically dry approach to ethics by presenting relevant ethical principles through the lens of close-up magic and improv.

What are PAST attendees saying?

What will we cover?

The workshop will explore the most common ethical complaints levied against counselors and therapists with an emphasis on small group exercises to solve ethical dilemmas. The rapid evolution and expansion of telehealth and virtual therapy has prompted counselors and therapists to re-examine their professional ethics. Exercises utilizing the principles of applied improvisation will help professionals develop the ability to make sound decisions when unexpected ethical challenges present themselves.

Presenters: Victor Nelson, Pamela King, Chris Chickering
